I have two very vivid memories of Charlotte. The first was when Charlotte was our Nanny and Phil was out of town. While I was out for dinner with our 3 children and my brother, robbers used the next door neighbour ‘s ladder to climb into an upstairs window and steel Charlotte came home before us and chased the robbers through t the rock garden. They did escape but I never knew of someone chasing robbers before! The second was when I told Charlotte that I was expecting our 4 th child and instead of running for the hills, she was so excited and became like a second mum to our baby for the remainder of her time with us Both examples reflect the exceptional band positive personally qualities of Charlotte
